India best selling cars ranking May in 2020 is currently led by Maruti Baleno, which gained two spots from the previous year. In second place, the 2019 leader Maruti Alto – holding 7% of share – ahead of the Swift. Meanwhile, the Kia Seltos is impressing, entering the Top 5.At May 2020, the Maruti Baleno conquered the market throne, up 3 positions from last year with 50.063 Year to Date sales (-40.7%). Behind, the former leader, the Maruti Alto slipping in second place, selling 49.170 units (-52.8%) with 7% of share. The third position is taken by the Maruti Swift which in the first quarter was temporarily on top of the market. However, 47.849 year to date units (-43.1%) were sold in May 2020 by the Swift, holding 6.8% share.The Maruti Wagon R jumps in 4th place, characterized by one of the best top 10 performances (-35.3%), currently holding 6.2% of share with 43.417 sales. In fifth place, the star of the year, the Kia Seltos – the first non-Maruti model – with 38.101 units sold.The Maruti Dzire has crumbled in 6th place – down 4 spots from last year – with sales at 37.393 (-58.3%), followed by the Maruti EECO.
