As a result, the light vehicle market dropped down 40.3% in March with 11.827 sales, ending the Q1 at 49.556 (-7.6%).In April the market reported a complete halt, with only 221 units sold (-98.9%), while in May it largely improved, with sales at 8.933 (-59.9%).Medium Terms Market TrendAfter a positive period ended in 2014 with a peak of 316.482 units, the Colombian vehicles market started a decline with sales down at 237k in 2017. Finally, in 2018 the market was able to change direction and to post a positive score, with 256.662 sales, while holding a stable trend in 2019, at 257.222 (+1.8%).In the first two months of 2020, according to data released by the Colombian Associations of Car Manufacturers, registrations were holding the momentum.
